What is the Kinway Kindness Campaign?

The Kinway Kindness Campaign is about recognising and celebrating the incredible people in our community who make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Each month, we invite our community to nominate someone deserving of kindness, recognition and support. One nominee will be selected to receive a monthly helping hand.

How does it work?

  1. Nominate someone that you believe deserves a little extra kindness

  2. Tell us why they deserve to be recognised

  3. THAT’S IT! No strings attached, just kindness.

What happens next?

At the end of each month our team will choose one nominee whose kindness has made an impact.

The selected nominee will be contacted directly by our team to receive their helping hand.

Each month will bring a new way to give back to our community and a new opportunity for recognition will be announced.

The Fine Print of Kindness

AKA Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

  • Nominees must reside within the areas we service - this can be found on our website.

  • For the purpose of the one (1) free lawn maintenance in the month of June - the recipient must reside within the areas we service (Maitland, Newcastle, Port Stephens, Dungog, Karuah, Cessnock) and the service is maximum 2 hours.

  • Nominees must be aged 18 years or older, or have a parent/guardian's consent.

Nomination Process

  • Nominations must be submitted through the official nomination form.

  • Nominators must provide accurate and truthful information.

  • Multiple nominations for the same person may be accepted but do not increase the chance of selection.

  • Incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent nominations may be excluded.

Selection of Recipients

  • Recipients will be selected at the sole discretion of the company based on the information provided in the nomination.

  • The campaign is not a game of chance or lottery; recipients are chosen based on demonstrated need, impact, circumstances, or other criteria determined by the company.

  • The company's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding selection decisions.

The Gift or Support Provided

  • The nature and value of the monthly gift may vary.

  • Gifts are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash unless otherwise stated.

  • The company reserves the right to substitute a gift of equal or greater value if necessary.

Contacting Recipients

  • Selected recipients must be contactable using the details provided.

  • If a recipient cannot be contacted within a specified period (e.g., 14 days), another recipient may be selected.

Privacy

  • Personal information collected will be used solely for administering the campaign.

  • Information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • Sensitive information should not be included in nominations unless necessary and consent has been obtained.

Consent and Publicity

  • No personal details will be published without consent.

  • False or misleading information may result in disqualification.

Right to Modify or Cancel

  • The company reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the campaign at any time if circumstances require.

  • The company may decline any nomination that it considers inappropriate, offensive, or inconsistent with the campaign's purpose.

Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, the company is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the campaign.
